Mongoose Bat To Cricket: Boon or Bane

There are shouts that cricket the way played now is killing the game. Many opposed T20 as a fast food. Now another controversy is heating up.

The ICC has no problems with that prospect because it complies with MCC law, although, looking at its design, some wonder how that could be.

While there are fears that this might be another boon for batsman, bowlers seem to be confident. As this was the same issue raised when T20 was introduced. Everyone feared spin bowlers wont get a chance to perform and altogether it was proven wrong.

My concern is the protection on bouncers.

As the batsmen nearly all their life worked out with traditional bat, try to defend with the bat in the same way. But here the handle goes longer and there is a chance the ball hit the helmet or get scattered and alas! catch…
